Pricing

How the price is calculated

The price is calculated on our server from your model’s geometry and the options you choose – the same price carries through to your order.

Geometry

Part volume, surface area and dimensions are calculated from your file automatically.

Technology and material

Each material has its own rate; for powder technologies the build space a part occupies also counts.

Finishing and speed

Dyeing, polishing, inserts and express production change price and lead time – you see it instantly.

Quantity

Volume discounts from 5 pcs. Above 100 pcs or ~€500 – custom quote.

Files

Accepted file formats

STLThe most common format. It has no units – the calculator checks the scale and suggests a fix.
STEP / STPPrecise CAD format. The original is kept for production; a triangle mesh is generated for preview.
OBJSuitable for export from 3D modelling software.
PDF, DXF, PNG, JPGDrawings and attachments – added to the project.

Up to 50 MB per file. 3MF and IGES support coming soon.

Before uploading

Design requirements

For an accurate price and smooth production:

  • The model must be watertight (no holes in the surface) – the calculator checks this automatically.
  • Walls no thinner than 0.75 mm (load-bearing walls from 1.5–2 mm).
  • Export STL files in millimetres; if the dimensions look unusual, the calculator will suggest a correction.
  • Upload multiple parts as separate files – you can choose the material and quantity for each.
FAQ

Questions about pricing and ordering

How is the 3D printing price calculated?

The calculator reads the part volume, surface area and bounding box from your file. The price is made up of material usage, build space or machine time (depending on the technology), finishing, quantity and lead time. Each technology has a minimum part price and a minimum order value.

What is the minimum order value?

MJF, SLS and FDM: €40 excl. VAT (minimum part price €20); SLA: €80 (€40 per part). Minimums are higher for express production. If your total is lower, the calculator clearly shows the top-up to the minimum.

Is the calculator price final?

Yes – the same price is carried over to your order and stored with the pricing version. Shipping is added at checkout. If the model has geometry errors, an engineer will contact you before production.

What if I need more than 100 parts?

For larger batches and projects above ~€500, we prepare a custom quote – usually at a better price. Your models and configuration stay attached; just add your contact details.

Can I upload several files at once?

Yes. Upload the whole set – choose a separate technology, material and quantity for each part, and order them all at once.
