PEEK
PEEK is a high-performance engineering polymer with exceptional mechanical and thermal properties and chemical resistance. It can be 3D printed only on specialised industrial FDM machines.

When to choose
A good fit when…
- the part will operate at high temperatures in an aggressive environment
- you need a lightweight part to replace metal
- you need impact and wear resistance
When not to
Choose something else when…
- nylon or ABS is sufficient – PEEK is considerably more expensive
When PEEK is worth it
PEEK justifies its price when other materials cannot withstand the temperature, chemicals or load. More: when to choose PEEK.
Production
Lead time – up to 6–8 working days. Parts larger than ~150 × 150 × 150 mm can be expensive because of supports; long, thin structures have to be printed at an angle.
