Security and CAD File Confidentiality

Your files stay yours

CAD models are often your intellectual property. That is why we handle them as confidential information: we use them only to quote and fulfil your order, never pass them on to anyone and never use them for any other purpose.

How we ensure this

• Private storage. Files are stored in a directory that cannot be reached via a public web address; file names on the server are randomised.
• Access control. A file can be seen only by the user who uploaded it (account or the same browser) and by our production team.
• Expiring links. Original files can be downloaded only via signed links that are valid for a few minutes.
• Content checks. Every file is checked by its content (not just its extension); executable files are rejected.
• Automatic clean-up. Anonymous unfinished uploads are deleted after 48 hours.
• Sharing is your decision. A shared quote link shows only the parts list, the price and a preview model (without the original CAD); you can revoke it at any time, and the page is not indexed.
• Emails without files. We do not send CAD files by email.
• Analytics without file data. We do not send file names, geometry or quote details to analytics tools.

Retention period

Order files are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle warranty matters and process repeat orders. We delete them on request – contact us.
